Queens Estate is our newly renovated Toronto residence located conveniently by the 401 and Humber River Hospital. At the Queens Estate residence, we focus on providing high levels of service in an atmosphere that fosters care, compassion, dignity and safety.

Queens Estate is designed to ensure that your loved one receives the care they need when they need it. When you meet with a Metta team member for consultation or assessment, we can advise you of the services you or your loved one may need and want.

Our Neighbourhoods
Metta Memory neighbourhoods have been purposefully designed to provide a comforting and secure environment for those residents living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. Our staff have been specially trained by Leap of Faith Together and Living the Dementia Journey to offer a compassionate, person-centric approach. This approach focuses on the individual's interests, past life experiences, and customized needs.
Our wide range of recreation and therapeutic programs encourage residents to be engaged throughout their day while reducing anxiety and providing purpose. We have combined best practices from the leading dementia care programs to provide a wholesome plan that includes cognitive fitness, exercise classes, pet therapy, music therapy, sensory activities and much more!
Sensory Murals
A unique feature of Metta Memory is the interactive element through our Sensory Murals. These are located in the neighbourhood's common areas that offer comforting memories with sensory activities that will be familiar, meaningful, and calming to our residents. Each of these sensory murals is designed to evoke positive memories.
Our sensory murals focus on residents' memories from their homes. We've included an office, a nursery room and a laundry room sensory mural. Each sensory murals offers various activities that engage the resident and allows for interaction with family members.

Respite Care
Queens Estate offers short-term stays for seniors recovering from an injury or for a caregiver who needs some extended time off. This is also a great option for those who are looking to do a trial of our home.
You will be able to stay at Queens Estate and receive all the care options available in the assisted living and enhanced care program.
There is a maximum of 60 days to join the Respite care program.
