COVID-19 UPDATES
Metta Lifestyles is proud to announce that over 96% of all of our residents in our homes are fully vaccinated. Over 98% of our residents in Ottawa are fully vaccinated.
Furthermore, 81% of our residents in our Toronto homes have chosen to receive their third booster vaccine shot. We are also working very closely with Ottawa’s Public Health partners to schedule a clinic for the third shot once it is available in that area.
We will continue to work with Public Health and our residents to aim for a near 100% rate for residents who are eligible and is able to receive the third booster shot. We have already booked follow-up clinics for residents who missed the initial roll-out.
Over 91% of our staff are fully vaccinated. Metta Lifestyles will continue to take guidance from Public Health and regulators in an effort to have 100% of our staff be fully vaccinated for those who are eligible and able to receive the vaccine.
Metta Lifestyles is committed to protecting our residents and staff. We are taking extra precautions to keep our residents safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Metta Lifestyles has developed a prevention plan and will continue monitoring and following the guidelines outlined by the Government and Public Health, adapting our protocols accordingly. Many things will continuously change throughout this pandemic, but our commitment to service and care will always remain the same.
Please feel free to reach out to Metta Lifestyles if you want to learn more about our plans, prevention and safety measures or if you have any questions.

VISITATION
Metta Lifestyles began a careful, phased approach to the gradual resumption of resident visits during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring residents receive visitors safely to help protect against the risk of COVID-19. All visitors are instructed to adhere to the requirements set out in our COVID-19 Visitor Policy.
-
There are currently indoor and outdoor visitation areas in each home; staff will clean and disinfect the visiting area after each visit
-
All visitors and residents are required to wear a mask and maintain physical distance

Staff members will be screening all visitors before entering the residence
-
The Metta Lifestyles COVID-19 Visitor Policy is provided to all visitors. It will also be available on the premises for visitors.
