Thankful
At the end of 2020, the Metta team came together (virtually) to reflect on the past year and all the obstacles we overcame. I am grateful for our frontline workers who persisted throughout the pandemic and dedicated their time to providing exceptional care and programs through challenging times. We could not have done any of this without their help and support.
Vaccine Rollout
We are excited that January marked the month that our Toronto residents and staff were eligible to receive their first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. With the North York General IPAC, we delivered these shots in the comfort of our residence with physicians and pharmacists on-site to help administer and monitor the whole process.
McCowan Joins Metta
December 2020 also marked McCowan Retirement Residences joining the Metta family.
Located at the east end of Toronto on Eglinton, McCowan offers independent and assisted living along with a full memory care program. We are excited to welcome our new team to the Metta family and continue to grow and share the Metta brand and values with more Ontarians.
2021
As we enter 2021, we continue to build on our past experiences and set new goals. Our team continues to plan and organize new programming, events and more for our residents and community to enjoy. We will also continue to follow all of our precautionary methods to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our homes and provide full transparency to our residents and families.
